Our story

Made Up Salon opened its doors in September 2023 with a clear vision to create a cozy, welcoming space where everyone can feel pampered and relaxed.

As a team of mums, we wanted to build a salon that felt like a safe haven. A place where clients could unwind, enjoy a little self-care, and look forward to coming back again and again. We’re here to make you feel beautiful inside and out every time you visit.

Meet the Team

Made Up Salon has been open for two years, and we’re proud to be a small but passionate team of young mums trying to thrive in the beauty world. Alice, the owner, and Lois, our talented nail artist, are dedicated to helping you feel your best. We offer a range of personalised services and love creating special moments with our clients.

Owner - Alice

I first ventured into the beauty industry in 2017 and since then I’ve been expanding my skill set to offer the four services I truly love. I specialise in makeup and hair-up styles, as there’s nothing more rewarding than preparing my clients for their special events and occasions.

Lash extensions are my newest passion, and with 3 years of experience in this area I love enhancing my clients’ natural beauty while having a good catch-up during our sessions. Hair extensions, however, are one of my absolute favourites as they allow me to give people their dream hair and create stunning transformations.

I’m deeply committed to building lasting relationships with my clients, and I love the joy that comes from making them feel their most confident and radiant selves. Every treatment I offer is about more than just enhancing features, it’s about creating an experience that leaves you feeling beautiful inside and out.

Nail Technician - Lois

With nearly 9 years of experience in the beauty industry, Lois has perfected the timeless look of the classic French tip but is always eager to explore and experiment with the latest trends and new designs. Her passion for nails goes beyond just creating beautiful looks, she’s constantly expanding her knowledge and thinking of ways to make sure her clients leave feeling pampered.

Balancing her career with the joy of raising three amazing children, Lois brings a perfect blend of creativity, dedication, and warmth to every client. Whether you’re after something chic and classic or a fun new style, Lois is here to make your nails a true work of art.
